Harry Potter and the N-S M-S 4Chapter 4: The Potions Master

Amanda dragged herself down the dungeon corridor, looking as though she were about to face her death.  Kathrine peered over at her, amused.
“It’s just Potions. Not…y’know, torture.” Amanda scowled and folded her arms across her chest.
“Same difference to me.” They paused at the entrance to the Potions chamber and Amanda sighed. “Let’s get it over with.” Kathrine shrugged, readjusted her bag over her shoulder and they entered the room together.

The last rays of sun were fading from the sky as the students took the horseless carriages up the hill to the castle. Hannah and Jillian had been separated from their friends in order to take a special carriage for prefects. They reached the castle steps first, and waited, watching the first years cross the lake, until Rachel, Amanda, and Kathrine joined them. Amanda turned to follow Hannah’s gaze and smirked. “I bet you Peeves has something planned for them,” she said with a laugh.

Yay! I have a DeviantArt account!
